ideas good enough to steal (from me or anybody else!)
why not start a “snail mail karma” project? hey, even us Bible-thumpers can make use of karma…(we’ll just call it providence) anywho, send a letter~ of course you’ll want to use beautiful stationary and a fabulous pen~ to a friend or family member who you haven’t even E MAILED recently. tell him/her what’s new in your life, how you and/or your family are doing (keep the kid’s accolades to a minimum) and what your plans are for the summer. don’t forget to ask how they are doing and tell them you “hope to hear from you soon.”
then, at the very end, add this “p.s.”
…..tell your friend to do THE SAME THING you just did (send a L E T T E R) to one of their friends and keep the project going!
i know you won’t fully appreciate the FUN involved here until YOU actually receive one of these letters in your mailbox…. but what they hey, won’t making someone else’s day be fun enough??
