Now that we have been able to stay in Charlotte for a major chunk of time, Bob and I have been venturing out to meet and entertain new friends. We LOVE our new neighbors, David and Anne and daughter “K” (Katherine); we LOVE our new church, the first large church we have attended in many years. We are enjoying the opportunity to get to know folks from a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and professions. There are actually enough Interior Designers in our church that I am able to meet together with them for support as we traverse our way through the arts industry.

We have, of course, had several visitors and look forward to Thanksgiving in Charlotte with the Wilson family along with our kids.

We’ve seen many changes since my last post, and I am ashamed to say I was wrong about both the stability of Wall Street and the color of my state. It seems as though the “Wall Street” street sign held no guarantee of strength and the influx of Northerners has seemingly colored North Carolina Blue.

We are currently spending the weekend at a wonderful house on the beach, courtesy of Bob’s (new) favorite cousin ) Dana. The sound of waves crashing toward the beach has replaced my “new fav’s” on my ipod. I have some time –thankfully—away from the news (always bad), away from the polls (I look forward to the day that polls are wrong) and away from the banking crisis. Well, not so much since I brought a banker with me.
Since I have some time I thought it would be fun to delve into my wacky and weird personality. You thought so too, right?
