I have not visited Maine since I left. I don’t want to question our decision to move here or pine for the familiar. I don’t miss snow or sub-zero temperatures! But, I do miss the familiarity of Maine and Boston; knowing my way around, the memories- but no regrets. It’s easier for me. We just moved my parents here; and we’re working on Mike’s parents. You just can’t beat the weather here, especially for retirement. My kids have not left the nest yet, so I guess we picked a good time to move. Hopefully they will not go too far away from us as they grow up. But, who knows what the future holds? Only Him. We just need to trust. Not always easy.
