WHAT!? You mean we worked straight for 12 hours, painted Pepto Bismol Pink FOREVER and all we get is the cutting room floor?

Well, nonetheless, it was a phenomenal experience and I have never seen such an amazing reaction from the family on Extreme Home Make Over (maybe because we had a hand in making their wildest dream come true). I know you were all looking forward to our 15 minutes of fame, but better than that was being able to see the look on the family’s faces as they saw their new home. As I painted and painted I prayed for the little girl that would occupy that room (notice how the camera did not pan in too close to the details!) and finally “meeting” her was wonderful. Better than being filmed wearing a hard hat….
